We had a magical experience at the Rainforest tent, which offered a unique blend of rustic charm and comfort. The nature surrounding us, including turtles and ducks, created a special atmosphere for our first anniversary. However, not everyone might appreciate the lack of modern amenities, as some might prefer a more conventional hotel experience.

Rooms
10.0
The Rainforest tent was private and had an outdoor shower, adding a special touch to our stay. It's certainly rustic, which might not suit everyone, but we found it delightful.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel special during our stay. They also helped arrange breakfast delivery from a local bakery, which was a lovely surprise.
Location
9.0
Situated in a beautiful forest area, the location offered a serene environment with a warm lake across the road, perfect for swimming.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast from the local bakery was delicious and added a personal touch that we really appreciated.
Facilities
8.0
The resort offered rental options for paddleboards and canoes, giving us the chance to enjoy the lake. However, the rustic style may not appeal to everyone.

5.0/10

My experience at this resort was quite mixed. While I appreciated the beautiful rustic setting and the potential it offered, the state of the room was far below what I expected for the price. The staff were friendly and did offer some compensation for the issues, but it felt more reactive than proactive, which left a sour taste. Overall, I won't be returning due to the lack of maintenance and attention to detail.

Rooms
5.0
The room was very disappointing and poorly maintained. There were cobwebs, mold in the bathroom, and the bedding was stained. For the price of $250 a night, I expected much better.
Service
5.0
The staff did try to make amends after I raised my concerns, but I felt there was a lack of accountability from management about the conditions of the room.
Location
7.0
The resort is set in a beautiful natural setting, which could offer a great escape if it had been better maintained.
Dining
5.0
Dining options here seem expensive. I didn't have any meals here during my stay but heard from other guests that it's overpriced for what you get.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities are lackluster. It seems they haven't invested in necessary maintenance and upgrades, which detracts from the overall experience.

Our stay at Ruby Lake Resort was memorable due to the stunning natural surroundings and the charm of the restaurant. However, the overpriced accommodations felt a bit misleading in terms of quality, and the breakfast was only continental. The location is lovely and ideal for enjoying nature, but the amenities could use improvement for the price.

Rooms
5.0
The cabins felt outdated and were not nearly as nice as I expected for the price. They were clean but lacked some essential amenities.
Service
6.0
The service was friendly, but there was no apology from the owners regarding the misleading information about the spa.
Location
9.0
The resort is nestled in a beautiful area surrounded by nature, with access to wildlife and a serene lake.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options overpriced for what was offered. While the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, the food did not meet my expectations.
Facilities
5.0
The advertised spa was nonexistent, which was quite disappointing. The overall amenities are limited for the high price.

5.2/10

My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. While the location was absolutely breathtaking and the grounds were remarkably well-kept, the accommodation left much to be desired. The communal bathroom experience and a persistent rooster made for restless nights. The lack of essential amenities in the kitchen and the condition of the tent were also disappointing, especially for the price paid.

Rooms
5.0
The tent was adequate but quite basic, with a hard, creaky bed and not very inviting bathroom facilities that required a walk through the dark at night.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, staff response to the kitchen shortages and maintenance issues seemed lacking, with no refill on coffee or cleaning supplies during our stay.
Location
10.0
The stunning location makes the resort a beautiful getaway, surrounded by nature and tranquility, which was a major highlight of my trip.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited due to a lack of utensils, leading me to rethink my meal plans after realizing there were no forks.
Facilities
5.0
The communal areas and restrooms were poorly maintained, impacting the overall experience significantly.

I had high hopes for our stay, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. While Ruby Lake itself is beautiful, the resort lacked basic amenities and cleanliness. Our rustic cabin was very cramped and more reminiscent of camping than a getaway. Overall, the experience did not match the resort-like prices we paid.

Rooms
5.0
The cabin we stayed in was extremely small, just a double bed and a small table. It was hot and stuffy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Service
5.0
I didn't experience anything memorable regarding service; the ambiance of the place overshadowed any potential positives.
Location
9.0
Ruby Lake is stunning and perfect for paddleboarding or swimming, which is a definite plus for nature lovers.
Dining
9.0
The on-site restaurant was amazing, and that was one of the highlights of our trip.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities are very basic and did not meet our expectations of a resort.
